Janna’s Mesmerize Reflection

As our first of many outings, I felt pretty excited and nostalgic in a sense, getting to explore as a group is an amazing bonding experience. The Mesmerize exhibit itself added to this both wonder at the environment and themes and curiosity about the actual build and production processes.

As a lucid dreamer, I’m used to seeing all sorts of incredible things and I really did love how this exhibit manifests such a space, however, because of my experience with lucid dreaming I think that I would have been even more immersed if there were more interactive / dynamic elements, or say if going through the exhibit in different directions or choosing different actions created a branding “choose your own adventure story” which would likely still be open ended.

I think some additional sort of dynamic elements would help tie the poems together or increase their impressionality™
